Higher Farm Riding School

Higher Farm an award-winning Riding School, is conveniently located in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, close to Middlewich, Northwich, Nantwich, Congleton and Holmes Chapel.   

Our purpose built equestrian centre is one of the fast growing in the North West and our enviable facilities include multiple, fully lit arenas, with both indoor and outdoor ménages.  Thus enabling year-round and evening lessons.   In addition, we have excellent off-road hacking and our popular stroll to the river ride is a fabulous way to relax, taking in the beauty of our 123 acres and the meandering River Dane.   

We offer group or private lessons and cater for adults and children alike.  It doesn't matter if you're a complete beginner or a more experienced rider we have the right horses, ponies and instructors waiting for you.  We are able to offer lessons from the age of 2 and our horses have a maximum weight capacity of 14 stone.  

Looking for something to do in the holidays?  Then why not treat your children to one of our own your own pony days or weeks.  During their time with us they will get to experience the fun of 'owning' their own pony, from feeding and grooming through to a wonderful lesson; they'll come home full of the joy of it.  

We are very pleased to say that the RDA operates from here, opening up their fabulous opportunities to an even wider range of individuals.  

Horse riding is a fantastic sport, which is suitable for all ages and physical abilities.
