We are thrilled to offer our all-inclusive residential pony camps! You have the option to choose between a full 5-day camp, running Monday through Friday, or a 2.5-day camp where you can select either Monday to Wednesday lunch or Wednesday lunch to Friday. Accommodation will be camping on site, giving all pony clubbers the chance to earn their camping badges! Our camps cater to children of all abilities, providing them with the opportunity to enhance their riding and horse care skills, as well as try out various equestrian sports and activities. £100 for the full camp, or £50 for the minicamp, a non-refundable / non-transferable deposit paid upon booking. The remaining balance can be paid all at once or in installments. Our five-day camps satisfy the requirements for your DofE gold award residential section.

£100 non-refundable deposit for full camp.
£50 non-refundable deposit is due upon booking for half-day camps.
The full Balance is due on the 1st of July 2025 after this date no refunds will be given.

Higher Farm is licensed with Cheshire West and has full public liability insurance. Children may like to take out their own personal accident insurance.
Meals
: All meals including water and squash are included in the price. Additional Fizzy drinks, sweets, and crisps are available to be purchased from the café during the tuck shop. If your child has special dietary needs, please inform us on your booking form.
We are thrilled to have your children join us at camp! We want them to fully engage in all the fun activities and make lifelong friendships, so we kindly ask that personal communication devices are kept to a minimum.
If you need to get in touch with your child, please call between 7:30am and 8:30am. You can also leave messages with our office staff at any other time, and we will make sure your child receives them during break times.
We have noticed that children can sometimes feel homesick after talking to their parents, so this year we are limiting phone calls to the morning hours. Rest assured, if there is an emergency, we will make sure your child gets the message right away.

Full Camp - Children arrive between 9.00am - 9.30am on Monday and depart after the presentations at 4.00 pm on Friday. Parents are welcome to drop off their child any time from 9am on Monday morning and can remain until 10am to help them settle in if required.
Games are organized between 9am and 10am to help the children get to know one another.
Mini Camp - Children arrive between 9.00am - 9.30am on Monday and depart after the presentations at 12noon on Wednesday.
Or arrive between 1pm - 1.30am on Wednesday and depart after the presentations at 4 pm on Friday.
On Friday the children are free to leave at 4 pm, but if parents wish to arrive from 3 pm to help pack bags and watch the prize giving, they are welcome to do so. Please ensure you check your child out with a staff member when you leave.

Our program offers unique opportunities to ride and engage with a variety of horses and ponies, while also learning about safety, and welfare, and observing these magnificent animals in their natural herd environment. Each day is filled with riding lessons, fun horsey activities, supervised games, quizzes, and entertainment. We have a weight limit of 12 stone. This is because the ponies trained for all the specialist activities are not all weight carriers. We have a wide range of horses and ponies to suit riders of all abilities, but children are also welcome to bring their own pony if they wish. Own ponies will be looked after and ridden only by their owners (livery fee applies).
At our camp, the children are always under supervision and receive assistance when needed, but they are also encouraged to take on responsibilities for themselves. They learn to do their own washing up, make their own beds, and show up for activities promptly when the bell rings.
Whether you're a beginner or have never ridden before, our ponies are experienced and will have you riding like a pro in no time. With a selection of around 2 well-trained horses, you'll surely find the perfect companion for your riding adventures.
We provide 24-hour supervision, with supervised activities throughout the day and evening, as well as dedicated night staff. Plus, one of our directors lives on-site and the entire yard is monitored by CCTV for added security.
Our camps are led by Shannon, a BHS APC level 4 Yard Manager who is passionate about creating a fun and safe environment for all campers. With a team of friendly and qualified staff, your child is sure to have an unforgettable experience at our camp.
Get ready for an amazing experience at our equestrian camp! Children will be placed into small groups for riding activities, carefully selected based on age, friendships, and pony suitability. Throughout the day, groups will rotate to ensure everyone gets a chance to participate in every activity.
Our riding lessons are progressive and designed to help children build a strong bond with their pony. there are plenty of exciting equestrian activities to try. Children will take turns riding different ponies while others practice on different activities, receiving personalized instruction along the way.
Each day is packed with riding lessons, pony care sessions, and various horse activities, all lasting about an hour. Our goal is not to turn anyone into an expert overnight but to provide a fun and educational experience. Children will have the opportunity to ride a variety of horses and ponies, learning new skills and discovering different equestrian sports.

Get ready for an amazing camping experience! You will need to bring your own tent for accommodation. If you're coming with friends, bring a larger tent so you can all sleep together. A detailed list of requirements and what to bring will be emailed to you for confirmation. Rest assured, there is CCTV in operation on the campsite at night for your safety. Plus, night nannies will be on-site to take care of the children. Get ready for a fun and unforgettable adventure!
Camping will also allow all pony club members to gain their camping badges!.
Why not bring him on holiday with you? Own ponies live in, feed/hay can be purchased onsite, or you can bring your own. If you haven't got your own pony, then we can match you up with one of ours, suitable for the activity of the day. Own ponies are ridden by their owners every day and take part in pony care sessions. Livery fee applies for own ponies. Visiting ponies must come from private disease-free yards and have a current passport. Please contact us before booking if you would like to bring your own pony.

N.B. no jewelry allowed only watches.
It is recommended that expensive electronic devices, phones etc. are left at home. If they are brought, they must be clearly named and will be collected in overnight, and returned at breakfast time.
Lost property (if found) can be collected in person, or we will package it for you to arrange a courier collection.
