Activity Days At Higher Farm Riding School

 Looking for the perfect school holiday activity for pony lovers?

Join us for our Higher Farm Pony Days — fun-filled, hands-on days designed for children who love horses and want to learn more about riding and stable life!

Each Pony Day combines riding, stable management, and interactive learning, all in a friendly, supportive environment.

 When: During school holidays and half terms
Time: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Lunch Included!

Each day runs from 10AM–2PM and includes:

💚 A group riding lesson or hack
💚 Stable management – grooming, feeding, and caring for ponies
💚 Lunch break (bring your own packed lunch)
💚 Games, quizzes, and themed activities
💚 A chance to earn Pony Club badges, ABRS+ rosettes, and other achievement awards for those with memberships.

Our Saturday Club is perfect for young riders who want to spend more time with their favourite ponies, make friends, and learn new stable management skills in a relaxed, fun environment.

Open to children aged 9–15, our Saturday Club runs on the first Saturday of every month — a full day of pony fun, learning, and friendship at Higher Farm Riding School.

 When: 1st Saturday of every month
Time: Drop-off 9:30 am | Collection 3:30 pm

During their day at Saturday Club, children will enjoy:

💚 A group riding lesson or group hack
💚 A stable management session led by our instructors
💚 Hands-on experience with grooming, tacking up, and horse care
💚 A chance to learn about life at a working riding school

Each session builds towards the Riding School Helper Certificate — once achieved, members can even volunteer at weekends once over 13 years to gain more experience!

Don't forget to bring along a packed lunch, drink, and plenty of energy for a full day of pony fun!
